Turkey Meatballs ~ Baked

Makes 4 servings of 5 meatballs each.

Each serving is 4 points+

Turkey Meatballs

  • 1 pound ground turkey breast
  • 4oz frozen spinach, thawed and squeezed dry (abut 2 oz after squeezed)
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup shredded parmesan cheese
  • 2 t onion powder
  • 1 t garlic powder
  • 1 t dried basil
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 1/4 t pepper

Bring all your ingredients to room temp.

Heat oven to 400 and line a baking sheet with foil, spritz with cooking spray.

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl.

Measure into 1 oz (give or take) size chunks and roll into a ball.  Makes 20 meatballs. (yes, I actually weighed mine) LOL

Place on sprayed, lined, baking sheet.

Lightly spritz the tops of the meatballs with cooking spray to enable browning.

Bake for 20 min. (15 if adding the step below)

Reposition your oven rack and place under the broiler for about 5 min. or until browned to your liking. (optional)
