The other day I went out and harvested the cabbage from the garden. They never really got big and I think that is because we only had a few cold days/nights this winter. It's hard to tell by looking at the picture but the biggest one is the about the size of a nice cantaloupe. Nevertheless, they are decent sized and I sauteed one up with some bacon for dinner tonight to go with the grilled pork chops.
<--- This is when the plants had been in the ground for about a month.
Not too bad for a first time growing cabbage! We are very pleased.
